What is Functional Nutrition and how functional nutrition coaching can benefit you.

Functional nutrition is a holistic approach to nutrition that focuses on the underlying causes of health problems rather than just treating the symptoms. It involves evaluating a person's overall health, including their diet, lifestyle, and environmental factors, to identify any imbalances or deficiencies that may be contributing to symptoms or disease. 

As functional nutrition practitioners, we have concluded that the body possesses an innate ability to heal itself, with proper nutrition and lifestyle management being crucial components of this process. My work involves collaborating with clients to create personalised nutrition plans and providing coaching on all aspects of health using scientifically proven knowledge. To achieve this, I utilise tools like the matrix to gain a comprehensive overview of a client's current health status, including the analysis of epi-genetics, antecedents, and mediators. This approach allows me to identify the root causes of their health issues and develop a plan to resolve them, ultimately supporting the body's natural healing mechanisms. Depending on the individual, recommendations may include specific foods, supplements, and lifestyle modifications.

Functional nutrition can be used to support a wide range of health concerns, including chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, digestive issues, mental health, obesity, hormonal imbalances, autoimmune conditions, and chronic diseases such as heart disease and diabetes. It is often used in conjunction with other therapies, such as medical treatment or physical therapy, to support overall health and well-being. 

As an expert in the areas of chronic fatigue management, gut health, and fibromyalgia, I have created a comprehensive 90-day program that addresses all essential aspects necessary for individuals to overcome these conditions and regain their vitality.
